IIC-Taiwan featured 130 booths showcasing next-generation technology from leading technology companies. Taiwan's engineers and technical managers came to evaluate the latest IC and embedded design solutions - up 19 percent from its predecessors in 2007. The vendor seminars were a big hit among design engineers who gathered to learn the latest theories on automotive technology, embedded systems, test & measurement and more from technology experts. Taiwan produces some of the most sophisticated electronics in the market. The island has been recognized globally as the technical innovation center in Asia.
IIC-Taiwan 2009 will be expanding its show floors to accommodate more active and passive component technologies at Hall 3 of Taipei World Trade Center.
A total of 3,681 design innovators and decision makers from Taiwan's electronics hubs filled the show floors of IIC-Taiwan last September 2008. The event was co-located with SEMICON Taiwan and HDMI Developers' Conference.
The Components Zone at IIC-Taiwan exhibited the latest electronic components to top decision makers from Taiwan's electronics companies.
